Live Active Leisure (LAL) is an independent ‘not for profit’ company limited by guarantee with charitable status. We are the supplier of sport and leisure management services and facility operations. We work with a number of partners to deliver benefits to our clients, to invest in our community and the customers we serve.
Working together with our customers, staff and partners we aim to give the people of Perth and Kinross the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a physically active lifestyle.
The Company is headed up by Jim Moyes - Chief Executive Officer and other Company Officers, who report to a Board of Directors.

Background
Live Active Leisure has been in existence for nearly 40 years but has changed significantly during that time. Initially known as Bell’s Sports Centre (Perth) Ltd, the Company name was changed to Perth & Kinross Recreational Facilities Ltd in the mid 1980’s when Perth Leisure Pool was created. A further five indoor recreation facilities were added during the 1990’s. The restructuring of Perth & Kinross Council in 2000 coincided with the production of a Company Improvement Plan, which identified the need to create a ‘corporate’ structure. This ultimately led to the creation of a Company Head Office, the company name changing to Perth & Kinross Leisure and the structure which is presently in place.
Following a rebranding exercise in September 2010, Perth & Kinross Leisure changed its name to Live Active Leisure Ltd.
Live Active Leisure now manage 14 leisure venues throughout Perth & Kinross including: Perth Leisure Pool, Bell’s Sports Centre, Live Active Rodney, Live Active Letham, North Inch Community Campus, Glenearn Community Campus, Live Active Loch Leven, Loch Leven Community Campus, Live Active Auchterarder, Strathearn Community Campus, Live Active Atholl, Breadalbane Community Campus, Live Active Blairgowrie and Blairgowrie Community Campus plus the George Duncan Athletics Arena and several Community Halls.
