Live Active Leisure operates a child admissions policy for all children under 8 years old, for unprogrammed swimming sessions.

Admission to Live Active Leisure swimming pools is allowed under the following conditions:

• All children under 8 must be accompanied in the water at all times by a responsible adult of at least 16 years old.  Please refer to the ratios detailed below.
• All children aged 4 - 7 must wear a high visibility wrist band whilst in the pool and changing area.

Under Four years

• One adult to one child with or without armbands or one adult to two children with armbands.

Four - Seven years

• One adult to two children with or without armbands.

Mixed Ages

• One adult to one child under 4 and one 4 - 7 year old, if the under 4 is wearing armbands.

General Information

• Live Active Leisure expect adults who are supervising children under 8 years old in our pools to ensure they are in close contact with the child throughout their visit. This extends to changing rooms, toilets, poolside and the pools themselves.
• Re-useable high visibility wristbands - These are available at reception, these should be deposited in the available bins after use.
• Armbands - These are available free of charge or for purchase from reception.
