Physical activity is essential in maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.  It is suggested that young people should aim to participate in activity of moderate intensity for one hour every day.  Don't panic that doesn't mean that you have to spend an hour on the hockey field or footie pitch!  The one hour doesn't even have to be done all at once, it can be built up over the day.  

PKL offer a range of activities called Active Energy to help you build up that hour; from gym sessions to disco's we're sure there will be something for everyone. 

And if you need another reason, did you know that physical activity can:  

• Help you lose weight, stay fit and tone muscle
• Help you build a healthy heart and develop strong muscles and bones
• Make you feel good about yourself
• Help you meet loads of new mates
