Being physically active not only boosts your spirits and helps to relieve stress but it can tone muscles, help you lose weight, increase flexibility and stamina, whilst giving you a total body workout.  And don't forget that exercise is one of the best ways to help prevent heart disease, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, not to mention increasing energy levels.

One way to get active is by attending a gym.  Live Active Leisure operate 8 Fitness Gyms and 2 Weights Rooms, so whether you're a regular at our gyms or have never used a gym before, we're here to help!

All our gyms are kitted out with Life Fitness equipment and offer a wide range of both cardiovascular and resistance machines.
