Perth and Kinross residents have kicked the year 2012 off with an impressive display of energy, which looks set to help beat the depressing national economic trends and bring a more positive and active outlook to the year ahead.

We recorded over 23,000 usages in their venues (gym, classes and pools) within the last 2 weeks. This shows that people have really picked up the pace, as this usage is up 11% on this time last year.

One local Perth resident, Mike Souter has contributed to this pulse raising trend and also looks set to reap the benefits this year. As Mike recently won a years free Live Active Leisure membership after being picked as the winner of their December membership competition.
