Why is Learn to Lose right for me?

Have you tried the Cabbage Soup, baby Food or the Grapefruit Diet?  Tired of trying diets that dont work or are difficult to sustain.  Unlike 'fad' diets, Learn to Lose shows you how healthy eating and regular exercise can promote healthy weight loss and the ability to maintain that loss. The class is suitabe for people with a BMI of 25 or over. The programme formely run in conjunction with NHS, called Winning Weigh is set to launch on 22nd Feb from Bell's Sports Centre.

What is Learn to Lose?

Learn to Lose is a 12 week weight management programme for anyone who wants to lose weight and feel better.  The 2 hour session combines both advice on a number of issues such as portion sizes, labelling and eating behaviours and exercise.

How will I be supported?

Our dedicated, fully trained staff are on hand throughout the programme to offer advice and encouragement.  Meeting like minded people who also want to lean a healthier lifestyle will provide the support you'll need to make positive changes.

The programme has been found to work because it becomes part of a daily routine.  John and Janet Greaves previous customers, lost over 14kg on the programme and are now regular customers at Live Active Rodney and continue to lose weight.  John commented: “We found the programme eye opening, it’s brilliant.  We now have the skills and knowledge to keep going”.
