Over 5’s Should Be Active for 60 Minutes Every Day

Children need to be active. We all know this and we also know that with a little gentle encouragement even the most avid computer gamer will love the freedom and enjoyment of physical activity. As well as the simple pleasure of spending time with their peers, children who enjoy an active lifestyle gain all of this:

Better levels of concentration Improved co-ordination

A healthy weight Positive body image

Strong bones and muscles Great social skills

We are proud of our role in developing healthy minds and bodies for our community’s pre-school to 15 year olds and we’re working hard to ensure some of the current trends for inactivity turn around. So, work with us and together we can help our girls stay interested throughout secondary school and boost our boy’s participation past the age of 15.
