The Kinross-shire Community Sports Partnership has developed strong links with many of the local sports groups/clubs and delivers programmes/initiatives based on needs identified at a community level.  The partnership are always keen to work with other partners and if you would like to become involved, please get in touch.  Some of the activities to date include:

  • purchase of new equipment for use at Loch Leven Community Campus
  • facilitate open evenings to help clubs with child protection, access to facilities and club accreditation
  • organise delivery of sport at the Better Place to Live Fair
  • identify and contribute funding for rejuvenation work at KGV
  • plan and organise coach education workshops and National Governing Body awards in Kinross
  • link local schools with successful Club Angling initiative
  • invite local members of the community to join the partnership to ensure local needs are represented
  • planning for a Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Family Activity Day to take place in Kinross for families of children with disabilities and their siblings
  • liaising with Tayside Police to expand Street Sport initiative
