The Letham Centre in Perth will be redeveloped as a Community Health and Wellbeing Hub by Perth & Kinross Council. This will require a closure of the leisure facilities, and as such Live Active Leisure will not be providing a fitness and sport offer in the venue from Thursday 31 August 2017.

If you are a customer of Live Active Letham, then the information below will help you.

What will the Community Health and Wellbeing Hub offer?

The new facility will give people easy access to a wide range of services including childcare provision, NHS drop-in clinics, health and social care, adult learning, bereavement care, therapies, parenting services, IT training and Perth and Kinross Credit Union. It will also offer meeting rooms and spaces for community events, as well as sports facilities.

A PKC consultation will be held in the next few months with the Letham community about the facilities and design of the new Community Hub, so local people can have their say on what they would like to see provided from the building.

Designs will then be drawn up in the spring of 2017 and construction is due to begin in October. It is hoped the new facility will be completed by March 2019 and opened to the community in April 2019.

If you would like any further information on the Hub, please contact Suzie Burt, PKC on 01738 476771 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
