- 12.5m x 8.5m teaching pool
- Flumes
- Extended splashpad/aquatic children’s play space
- Indoor play area (Clip n’ Climb/ soft play or other family play activity)
- Games hall (6 court)
- Fitness gym
- 3 Studios
- Café
Ian Collins, Live Active Leisure Chair said “We are delighted with the increased funding allocated to the PH2O project to provide dedicated leisure water and flumes in the new facility. These, along with the commitment to include a Clip n Climb, Soft Play or other play activity will ensure that the facility provides an attractive offer for families from Perth and Kinross and beyond to visit. We’re excited to be a part of this project and look forward to working with partners to deliver a facility the community can be proud of.
"The substantial investment in Kinross and Crieff is most welcome and will extend the lifespan of our venues and allow us to continue to provide a range of health, fitness and sporting opportunities in these communities for many years to come.”
The Council also agreed a £10m investment in Bell’s Sports Centre to proceed with the proposal to develop this venue as a Sports Pitch / events space. These investments added to the £36m new Live Active Blairgowrie and the £8.7m earmarked for improvements to community facilities in Pitlochry equate to a total capital investment in Leisure of £142m over the next few years.
