KEEPING OUR VENUES AND SERVICES SAFE FOR EVERYONE
Live Active Leisure aims to the be provider of choice for everyone to live an active life. Our People and our customers, deserve to be treated with respect and without fear of verbal, physical, racial or sexual harassment. Harassment is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in any form, by any person, at any time within Live Active Leisure venues and services.
Our People, customers and contractors are expected to always be respectful to each other. There are no circumstances where it is acceptable to intimidate or harass another person.
HARASSMENT CAN BE DEFINED AS:
• Aggressive/ intimidating behaviour
• Unwelcomed attention
• Conduct which threatens, intimidates, alarms or puts a person at fear for their safety
• Physical violence, direct or inferred sexual threat, offensive, unwelcome, abusive verbal language or behaviour safety
If someone's conduct has this effect on another person it could be considered harassment, even if this was not the persons intention
HARASSMENT CAN BE:
• Direct – to you or your group
• Indirect – witnessed toward someone else or a group you are not related or linked to. Harassment doesn’t have to be about you to affect you.
FEELING SAFE IN OUR VENUES AND SERVICES
When using our venues and services everyone has the right to be and to feel safe. We have zero tolerance towards harassment of any kind, regardless of the circumstances. If any person feels that have been harassed, they should immediately speak to a member of the venue management team or any member of staff on duty.
Every concern will be acted upon via the Company’s Management of Unacceptable Behaviour & Exclusions Policy and may result in exclusion from our activities.
