MODERN APPRENTICE - FOOTBALL COACHING AND DEVELOPMENT

30 hours per week (1 year fixed term)

£10,010 (w.e.f. 01/04/2024)

The Football Development team within Live Active Leisure, is supporting young people in the local area by providing opportunities to gain skills and knowledge in the world of work through a Modern Apprentice training programme.

Candidates will undertake a SVQ 2 SCQF Level 6 qualification in Sports Coaching as well as other generic and sports/physical activity related awards and qualifications.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to provide support across a range of different projects and programmes contributing to the growth and development of community and LAL programmed football. This opportunity would suit a young person who is interested in developing their coaching skills, has a passion for football and who enjoys working with children.

This post is regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An offer of employment by Live Active Leisure will be subject to the outcome of this check being satisfactory.
