PACES clubs receive a limited number of free spaces per year, depending on the level of accreditation.
The Gannochy Trust in partnership with Live Active Leisure offer the following Individual Coaching Grants which are available to new and existing coaches. These can be used for education, training and development. These can help fund up to 50% or 75% of UKCC level 1 and 2 coaching qualifications, along with other types of courses.
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING MENTORING
Live Active Leisure provide mentoring on strength and conditioning. This is for those coaches looking to further their knowledge and skills, and implement this into their club/ squad sessions. This is currently run over a 12-week period, with weekly mentoring sessions.
- Be a lead coach with a minimum of a level 2 qualification or equivalent
- Be actively coaching an age group squad/or team in the club within Perth and Kinross
- Be able to bring a junior athlete to the sessions to help the coach in their learning outcomes
Every year Live Active Leisure host the annual Perth and Kinross Sports Personality of the Year Awards ceremony where we celebrate the success of our athletes, teams, coaches and volunteers- whilst giving them the recognition they deserve.
